What length is allowed for a domain name?

We support a maximum length of 67 characters (including suffix [com|net|org|info|biz]). A minimum of 2 (not including the TLD) is required by most registries.
The domain name can not start with a hyphen "-" , at com-net-org it can not start with "bq-" or have hyphens "--" at the third and fourth position.
