# Cancel a Domain Name Registration

Domain registrations occur in **real-time**, and therefore, it's crucial to double-check the domain name you intend to register to avoid any future complications.  
  
If you made a typo or an error while registering a domain, unfortunately, you will need to start the registration process again with the correct information.  
  
While it is possible to delete a domain name, it's essential to be aware that doing so will not result in a refund. Once a domain is deleted, any fees or charges associated with the registration will not be reimbursed.  
  
Please note that **resellers** may receive a refund for deletions of **generic top-level domains (gTLDs)** **within 72 hours** after the initial registration.
